Privacy Policy
The short version: the only thing this site collects is what you type into the contact form, it goes to me so I can answer you, and nobody buys it. The rest of this page is that same statement with the details a lawyer or an ad platform will want to see.
Who is behind this site
This is the personal portfolio of Thiago Menezes de Oliveira, an independent frontend engineer based in Louisville, KY. There is no company behind it, no marketing team and no third party buying this traffic. When you send something through this site, you are writing to one person, and that person answers you.
What this site collects
Only what you type into the form at /start, and nothing else. There is no hidden field, no fingerprinting and no data bought or enriched from anywhere. Two of these are required because without them I cannot answer you; the rest are optional and the form works if you leave them blank.

- Required. So I can answer you like a person.
- Phone
- Required. The number I reply on, by call or WhatsApp.
- Optional. An alternative if you would rather read than talk.
- Company handle
- Optional. Context on who you are and what you sell.
- Project
- Optional. What you are building, in your own words.
- Language
- Whether the page was read in English or Portuguese, so I reply in the right one.
Why it is collected
To reply to you about the work you asked about, and to keep track of that conversation while it is open. That is the entire purpose. Your details are not used to build a profile, not fed to an advertising platform, and not used to train anything.
I do not send newsletters or marketing sequences. If I write to you, it is because you wrote to me first, and it is a real message typed by a person.
How long it is kept
While the conversation is live, and for up to two years after it ends, so that a client who comes back is not a stranger. After that it is deleted. If a project actually happens, the records tied to that contract are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
You do not have to wait for that window. Ask me to delete it and I will.
What you can ask me to do
Under Brazil's LGPD and the GDPR, you can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or withdraw consent for me to contact you at all. There is no form for this and no waiting queue: write to me and I will confirm within thirty days, normally the same week.
I will not make you justify the request, and asking me to delete your data does not cost you anything, including the chance to work with me later.
How it is protected
The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type is encrypted in transit. The key that talks to the lead store lives only on the server and is never shipped to your browser, which means the page you are reading cannot read the database it writes to.
No system is perfect, and I will not pretend otherwise. What I can promise is that the amount of data held is deliberately small, because the cheapest way to protect something is not to collect it.
Children
This site sells professional engineering work and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent something through the form, write to me and I will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If what I collect or where it goes changes, this page changes on the same day, and the date at the top moves with it. This version is current as of August 4, 2026.
